I think it's fairly safe to put VT in the same sort of bracket as Lycan nowadays, with the added bonus of impressive damage potential. Unfortunately that'll only get you so far if you're a one-hit candidate for the vast majority, and with Ante/WaterFlow/StillWaters very few people have to worry about them in the long term.

Still Waters has really messed up the balance VT offered, since previously it was like an automatic Gen Resistance with BF being the only real alternative for non-BL users.

vt in the beginneing is not a good bl lol

weak against water , the only benefit with VT is 20% boosst fire damage

i am lose to kurtz ,battle with kurtz i realize his hp now is 190+ with cs spear damage about 150-250k

So it's like, SY. Only without the defense. Or the variety of boosted elemental jutsus. And with a weakness to all Nin and Genjutsu users. And an auto-loss feature for figthing SoT users. XD

Sometimes I wonder if the Administration even thought about half these things before churning out those extra jutsus. It's made rolling an A-Rank more dangerous than D-Ranks in terms of getting a "booby prize" bloodline lol

Oh well, I'll be fine without any bloodline. =/

Don't forget fire-resistance for VT.

VT is basically an element specific/limited SY.
Fire resistance = Cool, but who uses fire on a VT user? Most don't have 4-6 tagged fire jutsu. o.o

Nobody uses fire jutsu against VT because it won't be effective. Sometime someone actually does use it on me xD but after seeing 0dmg people are like "wtf?"

Also, it helps against SH-users a lot (:
